This policy explains how Mainra Games handles information in Spot It! Garden, our spot-the-difference puzzle game for players aged 6 and older, including children. This page is the specific privacy policy for this game.
- The game is a paid download. It contains no advertising, in-app purchases, paid coin top-ups, or subscriptions.
- You can play without creating a Mainra Games account or signing in to Google Play Games.
- Gameplay analytics is optional and disabled until you choose Allow. You can turn it off in the game's Settings > Analytics screen.
- Progress, coins, hints, settings, and local achievements are stored on your device.
1. Information stored on your device
The game stores your level progress, gameplay currency, hints, preferences, analytics choice, and achievement progress locally using Unity PlayerPrefs. These local records support gameplay and do not by themselves send data to Mainra Games. Clearing the game's app data or uninstalling it removes these local records, subject to any backup or restore features provided by your device.
2. Optional gameplay analytics
If you choose Allow on the Gameplay Analytics screen, the game sends usage information to Google Analytics for Firebase, operated by Google. This includes app and gameplay interactions such as level starts and results, hints and mistakes, gameplay coin spins, time spent playing, and app sessions. Firebase also processes app-instance or installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, and network information such as IP address, which can be used to derive approximate country or region.
We use this information to understand difficulty, improve gameplay, and measure use of the game. We do not add your name, email address, phone number, Google Play Games player ID, or precise GPS location to our analytics events. Advertising ID collection, advertising storage, advertising personalization, and ad user data are disabled. Unity Analytics collection is denied in this game.
Declining analytics does not restrict gameplay. Closing the consent screen does not grant consent. You can change your choice in Settings > Analytics. Turning analytics off stops future gameplay analytics collection; it does not automatically delete information already processed by Google.
3. Google Play Games achievements
The Android game integrates Google Play Games Services. The service can attempt to connect to an available Play Games profile when the game starts or resumes. If you are not connected, you can use the Google Play Games button to request sign-in. Sign-in is not required to play.
When connected, Google processes your Play Games authentication and game-achievement information. The game reads your Play Games player ID, stores it locally to keep achievement progress associated with the correct profile, and sends unlocked achievement IDs and completion status to Google. We do not receive your Google password or payment card details. Google manages Play Games profiles and the visibility of achievements under its own settings and policies.
The Play Games SDK also collects service usage and technical diagnostics to improve SDK stability and Google's products. This service processing is separate from the optional Firebase gameplay analytics described above. Google provides controls to delete the game's Play Games data through your Play Games profile or Google account.
4. Purchases and permissions
Google Play handles the initial purchase and related payment information. The game does not process payment cards or offer purchases inside the app. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, precise location, or Android Advertising ID.
5. Children's privacy
Spot It! Garden includes children in its audience. It has no ads, advertising tracking, chat, public user-generated content, or Mainra Games account registration. We do not ask players for their name, email address, date of birth, phone number, photos, or precise location.
Parents and guardians can keep gameplay analytics disabled and manage Google Play Games sign-in through their child's Google account and device controls. Optional usage information is used to improve the game, not for behavioral advertising or to contact children. The game's analytics opt-in is a gameplay preference and is not a substitute for verifiable parental consent where required by law. Please keep optional analytics disabled for children where the required parental authorization has not been provided.
If you believe a child's personal information has been provided to us, contact mainragames@gmail.com so we can review and address the request, including deletion of data under our control where feasible.
6. Sharing, service providers, and security
We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Google processes information for the analytics and Play Games services described above. We may disclose information we hold when necessary to comply with a lawful request or protect users and our services. Data sent to Google uses encrypted connections. Information may be processed on Google's infrastructure in countries other than your own.
Read the providers' policies: Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security. Google provides separate controls for data it manages independently, including Play Games profiles.
7. Retention and deletion
Local progress remains on the device until it is cleared or the game is uninstalled. Optional analytics is retained according to the configured Google Analytics retention settings and Google's processing policies. Google Play Games achievement records are retained by Google according to its service policies. Support messages are retained only as needed to respond to requests, resolve issues, or meet legal obligations.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information under Mainra Games' control, email mainragames@gmail.com with the subject Spot It! Garden Privacy Request. A parent or guardian may make a request for a child. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the relevant records and verify the request; do not send passwords or payment card details. We aim to respond within 30 days or the applicable legal period.
The game has no Mainra Games account to delete. Removing local data does not automatically delete analytics or Google Play Games records. For information managed independently by Google, use your Google account and Play Games controls or contact Google. We will help with requests relating to records we can access, subject to legal requirements and technical limits.
8. Support, your rights, and policy updates
If you contact us, we receive the contact information and message you choose to provide and use it to answer your request. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us using the details below. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes and provide additional notice for material changes when appropriate.
